Cdex is a tool to do all sorts of things audio related. Mainly focused on ripping and converting, things like turning your home Compact Disc collection into an mp3 collection on your hard drive become extremely easy. With built in support for many encoders you wont find any shortage of options for your media files. CDex is usefull for converting audio into other formats such as MP3 & Ogg Vorbis so you can save whole CDs to your hard disk without filling it completely. The application supports many Audio encoders, like MPEG (MP2,MP3), VQF, AAC encoders.

There are no installation requirements, simply extract all the files that are in the zip file to a directory where you want to put CDex. Once there, you can start the CDex application by selecting the CDex.exe, or you can create a dekstop short-cut. Ideal for USB sticks...

CDex is a very solid and reliable CD ripper which lets you create a variety of audio formats. It is one of the quickest available and outputs high quility audio, as well as connecting to the CDDB database for easy look-up of CD's and simple creation of ID3 tags.
